Can't find the part you need? Then we need to make it!

Please send me a New Old Stock (NOS) or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part, or even a good used part, and I will reproduce it for you. Can't get one? Don't worry - I can remanufacture many parts.

Replicas from New Old Stock (NOS) Part versus Used Parts

The best quality reproductions come from NOS parts. My replicas of NOS parts are completely faithful to OEM specifications and will last a long time. It is nearly always worthwhile waiting for that NOS part to come along, because it costs the same (or even more) to take a mould from a used part, and the parts reproduced from a mould of a used part are just not as good. Having said that - it is amazing what I can achieve with old junk!

Regardless, all my parts will work as intended and will provide good service in their intended applications. Lets just call it "show-room quality" versus "race quality".

Where can you find a NOS part?

In my experience there is nearly always someone who has one hidden away somewhere. It is just a matter of finding that person and convincing them to lend you and I the part. The inernet is the best resource we have for finding those people. Try the usual spots like eBay and and classified sites, but the people who inhabit old bike forums (like OzVMX.com) are an amazing source of information. Join the forum, make yourself known and establish good relationships and you will never want for a part. You might have to wait, but it will come.

There isn't a NOS part anywhere!

Don't worry - I can remanufacture many parts. All I need is the original specifications, and perhaps an old part or picture to give me and idea of what it looks like, and we can go from there. Often I machine or turn a part from say aluminium, plastic or even urethane, then use this plug to create a new mould. But there are other ways. You will end up with a perfect aftermarket part. But be warned - this can be time consuming and therefore expensive - I will ask for payment up front when I undertake these projects. Which is why I like to exhaust the NOS option first!
